“The Walking wounded” of the cigarette – Lost cigarette, lost freedom

The “To smoke kills” replaced the “Do you smoke?”. Delon, Tati, Coco Chanel, Lucky Luke, Jacques Chirac, … All become, in spite of them, the apostles of the fight against smoking. Today, the well-being is collective. It’s forbidden to pollute the air, the earth, or the water of the neighbour. Other “walking wounded”, Frédéric Beigbeder, romantic hero and overexcited, reties in “Un roman français”-“A French novel”, with his family and his history. The walking wounded has come back to home, by respecting the law, at least seemingly. The politically correct life seems some form of life assurance?
